- PVC goggle cover mould.
Goggle cover made by PVC material. It is a kind of soft plastic material. So goggle cover can cover human face tightly to avoid our eyes exposed and avoid saliva touch our eye. So PVC goggle cover is very important. Especially when doctor ware this goggle and close the covid-19 patient.
Now our goggle cover mould mostly made with 1 cavity. We also can make this mould according your request. But there will be no ready mould to choose. Our ready mould is one cavity. This in order to make this mould tooling time short. And ship the moulds to client in shortest time.

After mould finish detail tooling, goggle frame mould will be going on with assembling and matching job.

2. Goggle glass mould.
This is high requirement on the moud steel, mould polish. As bad mould core and cavity surface finish, the glass will be bad. Glass under strong light will show colour lights like the rainbow. Some other bad quality glass weared on the eye will feel dizzy. So can not buy cheap mould price for this mould.
1) First step. 3D part design according sample.
Part drawing made according the sample. After the part 3D design ready, we go to make the glass mould design.
2）Goggle glass mould design.
We can finish new goggle moulds production in 20days. As all parts design and mould design are ready.
3) Goggle glass mould steel.
Goggle glass mould steel have to be high gloss mirror mold steel. XS Plastic Mould choose NAK80 to make goggle glass mould. NAK80 is widely used to make vehicle lens mould. And other glass, which have high requirement on the optical performance, its mould also made with NAK80 steel. This steel can be vacuum quenching hardening treated to 48HRC to 52HRC. This is a kind of very cost steel. But we have to make sure this mould with high quality to ensure the glass with high quality finish.
4) Goggle glass mould tooling.
Goggle glass mould tooling required high cost and good quality machining. Such as high speed CNC milling tooling, high speed CNC engraving tooling, etc. And polish cost is particular high also. In a world, goggle glass mould is highest cost of these three sets mould.
5) Goggle glass mould trial.
When test glass mould, we need to clean the mould before inject the PC material inside the mould. As goggle glass mould surface finish is high mirro polish, can not use rough material to clean it.
After clean the glass mould, we can start to test the mould. But goggle glass mould injection moulding have one key operation.
Lens mould temperature need to be high enough then can be injected good quality lens. So in the beginning, you can just make quickly injection to make the mould temperature higher. Then increase injection pressure, hold pressure to produce mass production lens.
