There are many different design eyes protect glasses. Some glass already have same design on the market, some new design. All the eyes protect glass mould manufactured according customer’s request.

First stage – Eyes protect glass part design.

Usually there are two ways for the eyes protect glass part design. 1. We make the new design according customer’s sample. By this way, need to scan the sample and get the design data from the sample. We can make some changes on the new design if customer requested. 2. Customer provide us eyes protect glass 3D design.

3D design data will be sent to customer to check and confirm the design and sizes. But if client not have 3D software, we can provide 3D pictures with detail sizes and PDF formate 2D drawing. The design process started after deposit payment received by us.

Second stage – Eyes Protect Glass Mould design

We use UG (NX 12.0) to make mould 3D design. Can support stp, step, igs, x_t, prt, etc. format 3D file. Part design with stp, step, igs, x_t, prt, etc. format can be worked with us. UG software also support catpart and sldprt, but sometime will get erro. So stp, step, igs, and X_T framt is best for us.

We have engineer to take resposibility to check the moulds design to make sure moulds design are all no any problem.

Third stage – Mould steel purchasing.

We purchase many sets new mould steel together. Some moulds from different customer or same customer placed order at same time, then we can book the moulds steel at same time. And mould steel supplier will deliver the steels to us at same time with shortest time.

Eyes protect glass mould, its steel need to be high shinning grade steel. NAK80 steel is one of them and it is a best choosing for glass mould. This steel can not be done vacuum quenching hardening treatment. This steel pre-hard its hardness to 36-38HRC. This hardness is enough for the glass mould.

Mould base is C45 steel, almost all the moulds use C45 steel as mould base.
